CLOUDNESS…A lighting collection
Each object within the collection depicts an aspect (or a few) of cloudness, which is the relationship of clouds as a diffuser to the natural light source of the sun. Cloudness is organized into key characteristics such as: Permeable (light moving through it), Curvature (more organic than geometric), Thinness (lack of mass), Motion (some type of movement/operability), Degree of transparency, and Degree of opaqueness. Each of these traits serves as a guide into creating artificial lighting that can bring natural lighting phenomena into the man made environment.
